Mission Builders

The Mission Builder Program at YWAM Newcastle offers participants a great opportunity to be involved in short-term mission work and experience the larger family of Youth With A Mission.

Living in community at a hostel and serving the ministry at the most urgent need at the time. This could involve working in the kitchen, office, baby-sitting, maintenance, or general cleaning and administration. Although this work is seen generally as practical assistance rather than 'ministry', the mission builders have their own ministry in serving and blessing God and the ministry of YWAM Newcastle.

Mission Builder Involvement includes morning bible study and intercession, Corporate worship and Intercession. Also you will be mixing and living with the students on the Discipleship Training Schools, the Schools of Evangelism, the School of Music, and all staff and other mission builders.

There are opportunities in the following ministries to participate during the Mission Builder Program:

• Community Life: Maintenance, Kitchen, Public and Internal Events, Guest Services, Member Care and Personnel
• Training: Training Administration, Registrar, Academic Affairs
• Business: Accounts, Media, IT, Web Development, Marketing
• Property Development and Maintenance
• Youth Street (5de, Livewire, All Access, Crown Café, Shop Concept)

There is plenty of fellowship and your food and accommodation is fully covered by us here at YWAM Newcastle as you continue to serve us. The time frame for the program is a minimum of one month and a maximum of three months. You can apply and come at any stage during the year. There is an application process that is mandatory for your acceptance.

NOTE: IF the applicant is a minor [17 years and under] we can not fully accommodate for their needs and constant supervision. Therefore in the interest and safety of our volunteers we request that a full time guardian of 18 years or over accompany them with applying for the program, traveling to Newcastle and serving on the mission builders program. This will place complete liability of the minor on the guardian.
