At call2all we met a fijian man named Jon Dari. He invited us to his church and introduced us to his pastor, who suggested that we could help with the holiday program that week. We had a good time with those kids, and spent time at Jon’s house and got more acquainted with him and his family. Then we left for Parachute (a big music festival) on Thursday. We spent the next three and a half days serving on the programming team at Parachute (Joel and Eunha worked with the workshops and getting people sorted with that). We are now done with staying in tents! :)
Week 3: Journey to Taumarunui
On Monday afternoon we left for Rotorua to stay in a hostel. Then we headed to Taumarunui. Since we got here we’ve had one day of ministry. Today we helped take care of kids at the church. then we were off to visit people in their houses and doing random things for them. For example: cutting down a rose bush tree, moving a dresser, spending time with elderly.
